That dialogue made me laugh. xD It's like, "ikr, maybe that's why I've always hated them."
When it comes to boring stuffs, I guess I'm quite practical. Or I'd love to be, at least.
Because it's simply boring when you have to follow what others are doing when your mind is not even considering it worth doing. It has been quite the same for a lot of things; being too fake, being a hypocrite, adopting those annoying ungrateful mindsets - all the way while pronouncing one's individuality at the same time, ranting about the lack of compassion without even trying to listen to those who are trying to show it... such are the trends I spot while browsing through today's networks. Having problems with the world is one thing. Fabricating them is a totally different thing.
Not trying to generalise problems, of course. Personally, I have my share of down moments. But I think it's equally important for people to accept that there are problems one create for oneself, and they could be resolvable. They could be important parts of the process of growing up, sure. But they could be preventing one from growing up, too. Oh, but I'm not trying to degrade those who suffer from PeterPan syndrome or Cinderella syndrome. really.
I simply think that it's such a waste, when bright minds and loved souls are unable to channel their wisdom and love to others just because of some mutations of vanity. Far too often, vanity would become the golden key to apathy.
Then again, maybe it's just because I believe in caring for others as a wonderful method in expressing my own gratitude for all those divine love I've been getting. In line with a certain Philosophy of Love.
Another quote, this time it's from an indie artist who has respectable practical values: "The sheer amount of ignorance floating in the Internet is maddening."
