On Reasons

Spent a day inside today. Thinking. Pondering. Suffering (from a full-blown muscle-ache though. don't ask). And recollecting.

"Everyone has their own little internal world - a secret garden only they can enter. Each world follows its own internal logic - individuality. And the logic of one world means nothing in another. Understanding other people isn't hard. It's Impossible."

Gotta be the best quote I've ever stored in my brain. That's just - I dunno - true. I guess some people will think this conclusion is boring. I mean, you can say I'm back to square one. But what the hell. I got my way around, you got yours. Freedom is one of some virtues I respect. I prefer not to be ordered around just as I prefer not to dictate people around. Gotta meet some old friends in a few days time and my mind is more or less cleared up. I'm relieved, I'm content and I'm sure this matters only to me.

This kind of things can confuse people from time to time, yes. When we sense that everybody else is changing, we become scared and awkward. It's odd to be the odd one out, yet we're reluctant to change ourselves. We don't want to, yet people here and there are changing themselves down to their cores, their actions and minds. We feel despair, because we can't go through life alone.

"We're part of a community. We have to live by its rules. And the more we connect with people, the trickier those rules get."

You tell me, should we try to live by ourselves, just because people aren't meant to figure each other out? I think that conclusion is by far the easiest to get. The easy way out, like playing games on the 'beginner mode'. Too limp for my liking, sorry. I prefer idealists.

Why do I write? I write things I want to read. Can't find them anywhere else, even in libraries (yes, I've been there) and the web, so I gotta compose it myself. Such inconvenience, right, don't you think so, my friend? The same thing ought to go with everything else I compose on daily basis. Work, sound, pictures, practically anything. I guess I have to restructure a lot of things, don't I? Gotta make the blog posts shorter, too. :P To close, I'll leave another quote for you to take a long, deep breath with.

"The world is full of adventures. And when all anybody offers is 'something different', you get hungry for the familiar. It's comforting. Love has always been the world's best secret ingredient."

P.S: Just don't lose the thing that's important to you. Don't let living slow you.
